No prior animation experience is needed—just imagination and curiosity.

A: Animation 3.0 is a hands-on course where students design characters, build scenes, code, and animate stories using digital tools. It’s perfect for beginners - no experience required.

Q2: Do students need to know how to draw?
A: Not at all! We use beginner-friendly tools. Students who like to draw can use their skills, but creativity and imagination are what matter most.

Q3: What skills will my child gain?
A: Creativity, problem-solving, sequencing, storytelling, design thinking, coding, and digital literacy - all while having fun creating animations.

Q4: What ages can participate?
A: The program is designed for ages 10–16 years old, with adjustments based on grade level and prior experience.

Q5: Does my child need prior experience with animation software?
A: No. We start with the basics and guide students through increasingly complex projects step by step.

Q6: Where is this program offered?
A: Animation 3.0 is available at The STEM Lab Innovation Hub in Elgin, SC, and through select afterschool clubs in local schools.
